CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT
Document Preparation & Assistance Only
This agreement explains the limited services provided by My Contractor Problem. Please read carefully.
1. Nature of Services
My Contractor Problem is not a law firm or attorney. We help you prepare paperwork and organize your information. We can give general guidance about filing, but we cannot give legal advice or represent you in court.
2. No Guarantee of Results
I understand there are no guarantees: Filing a complaint or claim does not guarantee that you will recover money or get a specific outcome. My Contractor Problem makes no promises about results.
3. Client Responsibilities
I understand that I am responsible for:
· Providing complete and accurate information to My Contractor Problem.
· Reviewing all forms we prepare before you submit them.
· Filing documents yourself, unless we agree in writing to do it for you.
· Meeting all deadlines – delays in providing information may prevent filing.
4. Time Limits
I understand that strict filing deadlines apply. Delays in providing information or documents may prevent paperwork from being filed. My Contractor Problem is not responsible for missed deadlines caused by incomplete or late information.
5. Fees
Fees are for document preparation only. Payment is due when work begins, after you submit all required documents and information. Fees are not refundable based on results and are not a reimbursement for contractor losses.
6. Limitation of Liability
My Contractor Problem’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services. My Contractor Problem is not responsible for decisions made by courts, the CSLB, bond companies, or contractors, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect.
7. No Attorney–Client Relationship
I understand using My Contractor Problem does not create an attorney–client relationship. For legal advice or court representation, you must consult a licensed attorney.
